I also made this Halloween Costume for a little girl here in Las Vegas. Her Name is Holly. Her Mom Makes Purses on Etsy as Solsisters. Holly Wanted to be Princess Zelda. I made her dress from a skirt I found at the thrift store. I painted the design on the skirt. I made the top out of some stretch velvet. I made the armor out of gold satin covered foam. I machine appliqued the apron and the armor. It took forever, but this costume was better than the one offered on the internet for $400 dollars. The only things I didn't make are the headpiece or ears and the pendant in the middle of her chest.
Amazing as usual!
ReplyDeleteI am totally stoked that you started a blog. Guess what? I saw that princess leia Barbie on the craft mag blog a while back...how funny that you were the creator of it...so cool! I love etsy too. I will be selling on etsy next month hopefully—I’m starting with some mobiles I made. Anyway, I am a fan of YOURS—can’t wait to see more!
